    . An experimental exploration into the cause and effect of the many faces of oppression. A (90 minutes) play in 6 scenes. Scene 1: set 3 days ago in a Latin country. Lydia is (hands tied overhead) being interrogated by Captain Leonardo (Emilio) at the end she's raped; scene 2: set 7 days ago at the International Theatre of Poetry and Pain (East 14th street, NYC). Lydia is a dominatrix (with black wig and black leather trench coat), Emilio is her client; scene 3: set now at the basement of the Pentagon. Lydia is being interrogated by a US Captain Leonard (Emilio); scene 4: set in Summer 1967 in Rochester. Lydia aged 8 is sleeping when her dad Lenny (Emilio) crawls in bed with her; scene 5: set 8 days ago. Both Lydia and Lenny (Emilio) are separately in therapy with Dr. Finley (voice of
    Karen Finley)
    about the child abuse; scene 6: Lydia is crucified naked on an X-shaped 13ft. black leather cross, 'blood' is flowing from her wounds. Her client (Leonardo/Leonard/Lenny) comes in and strips naked smearing 'blood' from Lydia all over him. Next he kneels and Lydia anoints him with her urine cleansing him of his guilt. "It's All Desert Now" is played on tape.
    Premiered on January 6th. Wednesdays-Sundays. Performed 10 times. The New Theater had about 75-100 seats.
    Rehearsals for 6 months, with Bradly Field [Teenage Jesus & the Jerks] doing assistant managerial stuff, Peter Shore [Unsane] taking care of the special effects, Richard Phillips set design, lights by David Adams and music by Jim G. Thirlwell.
