LOVELY BING & GRONDAHL SAXON FLOWERS HANDLED CAKE PLATE, PINK ROSE

Maker
: This fabulous multi color cake plate is by Denmark's Bing and Grondahl, which has produced superb quality ceramics since it was created in 1853. The three towers of the green B&G mark that appears on the reverse derive from the coat of arms of the city of Copenhagen.
Design
: The pattern - called Saxon Flower - is a beautiful expression of classic Scandinavian design. It features a bold display of colorful flowers against a pure white center, with a textured basket weave band. The intricately designed handles are accented in gold. This plate is the pink rose variation.
Size and condition
: The plate is 10 1/2 inches wide, measured between the handles. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains or repairs. There are a few faint and tiny utensil marks near the center that can be seen in bright light.
