    Description

    Here is an interesting Julius Caesar denarius, Ceres obverse with Sacrificial Implements PONT MAX reverse. The obverse has some corrosion as seen. 3.4gms * 20mm diameter. Probably struck at Utica in 46 BC, though one scholar has it as being earlier... Sydenham 1023 * RSC 4. Images are scanned (I'm working on it!). DICT ITER is visible.
