Description
You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1880s French illustrated journal.It depicts the start of a hunt, with two beautiful pointer dogs in the foreground. The trainer in the background is signalling to the dogs.
The caption reads: chasse d'ouverture
which roughly translates to: The opening of the Hunt, or the opening flush.
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
