    Description

Rare original antique print from an 1890s French illustrated journal.
It depicts views of the Boulleaume Field Trials in France, along with the champion, a pointer named Grace of Strasbourg. Above the picture is the start of an article on the competition, that continues to fill the entire back of the page (40-inch article). The French article can easily be translated for free online from a cell phone picture of the text.
The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills about half the page and measures about 8.5 x 5.5 inches, with a French caption below and unrelated text around it. The text could easily be trimmed before framing, or hidden under a window mat.
The page has a fox stain in the right white margin that almost reaches the picture area. .
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
